Hello!
This is Jyoning ( ˶ ̇ ̵ ̇˶ )♡
I recently went to Jeju Island for my summer vacation.
It was a 4-night, 5-day trip, and my itinerary was:
Jeju Shinhwa World (2 nights) – JW Marriott (1 night) – Shinhwa World (1 night)
So yes, I ended up staying in a rather inefficient way!
The reason… I wanted to enjoy Bonvoy Platinum benefits, but didn’t have enough budget…(?)
(If only I had more money, I would have stayed at JW Marriott for all 4 nights…!)
In this post, I’ll first share my experience from my 2-night stay at Shinhwa World!
1. Jeju Shinhwa World Location & Hotel Info

Jeju Shinhwa World Marriott is located in Seogwipo, Jeju.
It takes about 40 minutes by car from Jeju International Airport, and there are plenty of buses that stop directly at the resort, so public transportation access is excellent!
Jeju Special Self-Governing Province, Seogwipo-si, Andeok-myeon, Shinhwayeoksa-ro 304beon-gil 38, Marriott Building
🚩 Address: 38, Shinhwayeoksa-ro 304beon-gil, Andeok-myeon, Seogwipo-si, Jeju
⏰ Check-in: 15:00 / Check-out: 12:00
🚕 Free parking, electric vehicle charging available
🚏 Airport limousine bus No. 600, city bus No. 151 available

I also didn’t rent a car and took bus 151 from Jeju Airport to Shinhwa World.
❤️Pro Tip❤️
Shinhwa World is a SoCar Zone,
so if you suddenly need a car, you can easily rent one on-site.
There are several hotels within Jeju Shinhwa World Resort:
Marriott, Shinhwa, Landing, Sumerset
I booked the Marriott Resort using my Bonvoy membership!

2. Room Review
The room I stayed in at Jeju Shinhwa World Marriott was spacious and modern,
with the signature Marriott orange accents making a strong impression.
The bedding was soft and clean, so I slept really well—very satisfied!
I was assigned a room on the first floor, and since it was right next to the pool, it was quite humid ㅠㅠ…
I requested a dehumidifier from the front desk, and when I checked, the humidity was at 80%—I was shocked.
Since the number of dehumidifiers is limited, I recommend requesting one in advance if you’re visiting in the summer.
ᕕ( ՞ ᗜ ՞ )ᕗ

Thanks to the hard-working dehumidifier, the room became nice and dry, which made me happy ㅎㅎ

The bathroom had a separate shower booth and toilet,
so two people could use it at the same time, which was very convenient.
The minibar was complimentary once per stay, with about four cans of beer and some sparkling water.
Since we don’t drink, we didn’t touch it, but it’s a nice touch.
Overall, I was satisfied with the room condition.
(as long as you have a dehumidifier)
3. Facilities
❤️Pool (Mosil Pool)

The weather was almost typhoon-level bad, but I was determined to swim alone
—Korean spirit! (。╹ ᴗ ╹。)

When Shinhwa World first opened,
I remember Marriott guests could use the Sky Pool, but now the Sky Pool is only free for Shinhwa building guests.
Marriott guests have to pay 35,000 KRW to use it, which was a bit disappointing…
Still, I was satisfied with the Mosil Pool!
❤️Starbucks Reserve
One of the best things about Shinhwa World is that there’s a Starbucks Reserve in the basement.
In Jeju, it’s much easier to get Starbucks frequency gifts since there’s less competition!

I enjoyed a mugwort rice cake frappuccino and scored a Starbucks x Lacoste bag >.<
This is why I came to Shinhwa World—so happy!
❤️Medical Office
Shinhwa World has a well-equipped medical office.
Why did I go there…?

I scratched my face with my fingernail while sleeping ㅠㅠ…

Anyone want to gift me some mittens…?
Besides these, there’s also a Shinsegae Outlet, theme park, water park, and a wide variety of restaurants and other facilities.
I’ll cover the rest in my next post!
4. Honest Review

(Thought I looked a bit hip in the Shinhwa World lobby, so here’s a shot…!)
Jeju Shinhwa World Marriott offers spacious and comfortable rooms, a wide range of facilities, convenient shopping and dining, and friendly service—making it a highly satisfying all-in-one resort.
I recommend it for:
1. Families with young children looking for safe and diverse play facilities
2. Those who want to take care of accommodation, meals, shopping, and activities all within the resort
3. Travelers looking for a hotel with easy public transportation access from the airport, without needing a rental car.
Will I revisit? Hmm… I’m not sure yet.
That’s all for now, 20000~
(20000 means ‘Then, that’s it, goodbye’ in Korean.)
