- Close to Shanghai Museum
The good points are that it is very close to Shanghai Museum and the view from the room is fantastic.
- Transport with several metro lines
It is in the heart of downtown Shanghai, so its biggest advantage is convenient transport.
- High-floor library and lounge coffee
The executive lounge coffee is really good too, and you can see the world’s highest bookstore.
- Food and sights nearby
The talk show theater I wanted to see is right across the street, so it’s very close, and there’s lots to eat and do around here, which is really convenient
- Staff who always greet you with a smile
The housekeeping staff have a very good attitude and always greet you with a smile whenever you pass them.
Guest comments
To visit both Shanghai Museum sites with my child at the weekend, I chose the Marriott as the most convenient location.
It was nice being able to walk to the nearby sights.
The room was clean and comfortable, and Claire and Carrie gave professional, efficient service.
The hotel is a bit old, so the facilities are worn and the layout is not great (the bathroom shower stall is too small and the door design is awkward).
