• Given a river-view room facing the BundThe front desk also did their best to meet our requests and gave us a river-view room on the 80th-floor club level, looking out over the Bund in Puxi.
• Use Gate 3 for taxisWhen calling a taxi, I recommend setting the pick-up to Gate 3 of Jin Mao Tower (金茂大厦).
• Lounge afternoon teaThe blueberry scones and walnut cake at the executive lounge afternoon tea were delicious.
• Pan-fried dumplings at the 56th-floor breakfastBreakfast on the 56th floor is decent; if you look behind the tables at the far north end there are shengjian buns and pan-fried dumplings, and they taste good.
• Quiet rooms even at nightThe soundproofing is good so it was quiet even at night, and even staying alone I could relax and rest well.
